1. Senior Policy Advisors — Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami
ITK is seeking Senior Policy Advisors to lead various files including but not limited to Environment and Wildlife and Health related files. The Senior Policy Advisors will work towards promoting and improving the place of Canada’s Inuit in specific policy areas. This position provides recommendations to improve policy and associated outcomes for Inuit and act as a liaison between Inuit Treaty Organizations, government departments and non-government organizations. In addition, the role will coordinate and facilitate designated program activities in close cooperation with Inuit regions, ITK staff and federal and provincial/territorial stakeholders; ensuring goals and objectives are met in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations and funding conditions.🌲🐻❄️🦭🏥
2. Manager, Policy and Advocacy — Oxfam Canada
The Manager, Policy & Advocacy is responsible for providing strategic direction for Oxfam Canada’s policy influencing and campaigns work in order to raise Oxfam Canada’s recognition as a thought leader on issues related to poverty, gender justice and inequality, both in Canada and globally. In addition, they will engage the Canadian public in Oxfam’s campaigns. They are also responsible for the development, planning and delivery of creative and robust advocacy initiatives, and for building recognition for Oxfam’s program and policy expertise, especially in the Canadian context. They will manage the Policy & Advocacy unit by overseeing research and policy development, public campaigns’ initiatives, coordinating overall government relations, and leading on budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and performance management. 🗣️📣
3. Policy Advisor — National Research Council
The National Research Council’s Strategy and Integration team is seeking a Policy Advisor. Policy Advisors provide policy and corporate advice and support at all levels of the organization, including to the Secretary General, the NRC President, and the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry. The position requires the ability to think and communicate strategically and build and maintain positive internal and external relationships with clients and stakeholders. 🔬🧑🔬
4. Vice-President, Advocacy & Research — Food Banks Canada
The VP, Advocacy & Research will guide a team of researchers and advocates to drive policy change at the federal and provincial levels, shape public discourse, and build deep relationships with government stakeholders. The VP will oversee national advocacy strategies, lead the development of key reports and recommendations, and collaborate across departments and the food bank network to address the root causes of food insecurity. 5. President & Chief Executive Officer — Council of the Great Lakes Region
The Council of the Great Lakes Region (“CGLR”) is a leader in bringing government, business, academic, and NGO leaders together, as one, to explore and solve the region’s most pressing economic development and environmental challenges. The President & Chief Executive Officer is responsible for leading CGLR and its staff in a manner that guides and delivers on the organization’s mission. The CEO will be asked to review and accomplish the remaining objectives in the strategic plan including, business objectives, its fundraising targets, the expansion of CGLR’s relationships with strategic partners, and the delivery of CGLR’s flagship event, the Great Lakes Sustainable Growth Forum. 🌲🚣♀️🌲
6. Research Intern — Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (up to 3 positions)
HEQCO is seeking recent PSE graduates to join its small and dynamic research team. The internship will provide an opportunity to become familiarize with the current landscape of public policy research in Ontario’s postsecondary sector. Research interns will collaborate with HEQCO colleagues on research projects where they will be exposed to a variety of research methods (e.g., literature reviews, surveys, environmental scans0 in public policy. Interns will also write and prepare proposals, briefings, reports, graphs, tables and presentations for HEQCO staff. Their work will be guided by a HEQCO senior researcher who will assist in developing their skills and knowledge; additional opportunities for informal mentorship and networking with staff. 🍎📔🎒

The President and CEO provides visionary leadership for HEQCO’s operations, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of higher education research and policy development. Reporting to the Board of Directors via the Board Chair, the CEO will drive HEQCO’s mission to enhance the quality, access, and accountability of Ontario’s postsecondary education system through evidence-based research, expert policy recommendations, and strategic partnerships. They oversee HEQCO’s strategic direction, research programs, and operational excellence while building partnerships at the local, national, and international levels to amplify HEQCO’s impact. 🏫🍎
8. Director, Advocacy — Canadian Physiotherapy Association
The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) is seeking a Director, Advocacy. This role leads the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s advocacy strategy, engaging with policymakers and stakeholders across federal, provincial/territorial, and insurance sectors to advance the profession’s priorities. It involves coordinating issue campaigns, monitoring legislative and policy developments, and aligning efforts across the organization to amplify a unified national voice. The Fur-Bearers is a Canadian non-partisan charitable organization dedicated to protecting fur-bearing animals through conservation, advocacy, research and education. The Wildlife Campaigns & Advocacy Manager will play a key role in designing, coordinating, and executing advocacy campaigns that advance The Fur-Bearers’ mission. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role focuses on strategy development and implementation while also serving as a public-facing representative of the organization.
